Sallah Celebrations in Nasarawa

Governor Abdullahi Adamu has called on all muslims to imbibe the spirit of faith, sacrificial giving, love and peaceful co-existence which are necessary ingredients for development.The Governor made this call in his Eid-el-Kabir message to the people of Nasarawa state and Nigerians in general. In the message signed by his Director of Communications, Dr. Samuel W. Jimba, Governor Adamu reminded the Muslim Ummah of the spirit of sacrifice and giving which are the hallmarks of the Eid-el-Kabir festivities.

To those Nigerians who are celebrating the Eid-el-Kabir in Saudi Arabia where they are performing the Hajj, Governor Adamu prayed that the Almighty Allah will accept their prayers and supplications for their families and the Nigerian state. His Excellency also prayed that Almighty Allah will grant them journey mercies back home at the end of the holy exercise, as they are spiritually rejuvenated to contribute to the socio-economic development of the nation.

In the same vein, Governor Adamu has joined thousands of muslims to offer the Eid-el-kabir prayers at the Keffi central praying ground. In attendance were the Emirof Keffi and prominent sons of keffi from far and near.
