Nasarawa State contains the largest deposits of solid minerals in Nigeria. Though a relatively new state, it is one of the country’s most innovative and forward looking. In the short period of my service as Governor and chief servant of the state, we have shown a strong commitment to the use of modern information technology to change the destiny of our people. First we placed the whole state and its resources on the Internet, and now, my office is being opened up to all Internet users around the world. The intent is to uphold the tenets of transparency and accountability in governance.

If you are an indigene of Nasarawa State, I hope the information posted here will help you better understand the work of your governor. If you’re one of our friends, we hope that this site will give you a unique view of our great state and its government.
